Zeniteq is an independent AI news, reviews, guides, tools, and newsletter publication operated by Jim Clyde Monge. This policy explains how Zeniteq ("we," "us," or "our") handles personal data when you use zeniteq.com and related services.

• Account data: email address, display name, profile image, authentication provider, verification status, and account identifiers supplied through Stack Auth. If you complete your reader profile, we also store your name, professional role, seniority, company, biography, selected AI interests, optional X and GitHub profile links, and any profile image you upload.
• Reader activity: saved articles, likes, comments, profile preferences, and AI tool submissions.
• Newsletter data: your email address, subscription choice, subscription date, delivery status, and unsubscribe or engagement events processed by Resend.
• Technical and usage data: IP address, browser, device, approximate location, referring pages, interactions, cookies, and similar identifiers collected in server logs or by analytics and advertising services.

We use data to create and secure accounts; provide saved-content, comment, like, and submission features; operate, troubleshoot, and improve Zeniteq; understand readership; prevent abuse; comply with law; and protect our users and services. If you select the newsletter checkbox, we use your verified email to send Zeniteq editorial and promotional emails. You may withdraw that consent at any time. Reader-profile answers may be used to personalize content recommendations in the future; the current article feed remains the same for all readers.

We use necessary cookies for authentication and security. We also use Google Analytics and Google AdSense, which may receive the page URL, IP address, device or browser information and may set or read cookies to measure usage, prevent fraud, and serve or measure ads. Your browser and Google account settings may provide additional controls. Blocking cookies can affect account features.

We do not sell your personal data. We disclose only what is needed to service providers that help run Zeniteq, including Stack Auth (identity), Neon/PostgreSQL and Prisma (application data), Resend (newsletter delivery), Vercel (hosting), Cloudflare R2 (media), and Google (analytics and advertising). We may also disclose data when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a business transfer. Providers process data under their own terms and privacy commitments.

We keep account and activity data while your account is active and as reasonably necessary to provide the service, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, meet legal obligations, and maintain security records. Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe or request deletion, subject to limited suppression records needed to honor opt-outs. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.

Depending on where you live, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or portability of your personal data, and may complain to an appropriate privacy authority. Readers in the Philippines have the rights provided by the Data Privacy Act of 2012. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in any newsletter. We may verify your identity before fulfilling a request, and lawful exceptions may apply.

Our providers may process data outside your country. Where required, we rely on appropriate contractual or legal safeguards. Zeniteq is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. Contact us if you believe a child submitted information to us.
